Q: Why use a consultant for our stewardship emphasis?
A: The Finance Committee discussed and prayed about several different programs for our stewardship emphasis. After meeting with Alan Wildes from Generis, we felt engaging a professional to give us a fresh viewpoint was our best option; plus the Will You Grow? program emphasized individual growth in relationship with God.
A: There are two main differences between the Will You Grow? program and previous campaigns. The first is that it is Biblically and spiritually based with the emphasis on growing in your relationship with God. The second is the budget will be developed after the commitments are received.
A: God created us in his own image and He is a giver. He gave us the greatest gift of all – His Son, Jesus Christ. When we give we are fulfilling His desire for us…to be more Christlike.
